I love when a New Year starts, it feels like New Beginnings. I enjoy making new goals and thinking about things I can do to be better. To start off the New year, I also got a new church calling. I enjoyed where I was as Enrichment Leader and R.S Pianist. I also am the Choir Pianist which I'm guessing won't change. I'm still helping with Enrichment until after February's activity. But, my new calling is in the Young Womens as the Laurel Advisor. It's a change and will definitely cause me to be a lot busier than before. So many activities and things, and I'll be teaching a lesson each month, which isn't so bad. But, even though it will be even busier than I already am, I think I'll enjoy it. I was in young womens when we were first married and I think when Alley was little and this is the exact calling I had. I enjoyed it, and surprisingly I really enjoyed teaching the lessons. The girls in our ward are so amazing, they are so strong, I've heard their testimonies and they just amaze me at how smart they are and how strong there testimonies are. I know I will learn from them and I'm hoping I can give a lot to them as well.
I got the sweetest note from one of the girls, Tara, she is an exchange student from New Zealand, she has been here for over a year and leaves at the end of the month. I had the opportunity to teach her piano and get to know her a little bit. She pretty much converted to the gospel while over here in the good ol' USA and she has the most amazing testimony and I know she will be such an example to her family and friends back home. I'm so sad that I wasn't in YW before now so I could get to know her even better. I just love her so much and I'm going to miss seeing her and hearing her testimony. I'm glad for facebook so I can keep better in touch and see what amazing things she accomplishes in her life. But, anyway, she wrote me the sweetest note that I will cherish forever!
Just a few goals I'd like to work on this year (it's always easier to accomplish when you write them down):
*Have more family fun time together, spend more quality time with the Kids and be better at Dating my hubby :)
*Give everything I have to my church callings
*Read Scriptures & pray daily (family prayer too) & continue with FHE once a week
*Attend the Temple once a month (I had the opportunity to go twice last week and Wow! my week seemed so much better)
*Try to do more service and be better at Visiting Teaching
*Keep a Cleaner Home & More organized
*Be the Best Music/Piano teacher I can be
*Continue to try to eat Healthier 80% of the time :) and Exercise Regularly
*Spend time with girlfriends, create stronger relationships, hence Montly Craft Group :) & grow a team of craft group leaders.
*Finally make the Blog into a book and do at least 3 scrapbook pages a month for the kids' books

Young Women's. How exciting. I've alway's wanted to be in YW's. Maybe in the future sometime. hahaha
Congratulations on your new calling. I was called to be our YW President about 6 months ago. I love being in YW's. We may have to share ideas!
