Our Little Oompa Loopma

Alley was in the play Willy Wonka.  She had tryouts and made the part of an Oompa Loompa/Factory Worker. These kids worked so hard for 2 months.  When school got out they had 5 hour practices Monday- Thursday.  It was a lot, but they all did so great! They had the songs and dances down.  Alley loved every minute of it and made lots of new friends too.

We got so sick of the songs at home... we've all been singing "oompa loompa doopadee doo" and "I've got a Golden Ticket" and many more for months now.  :)

A cute bunch of girls
A lot of people came to watch, they did 4 performances all together.  I was able to go to 3 of them and helped back stage for 1 of them. Papa & Nana, Aunt Erica, Taiylor, Uncle Shannon, Aunt Rocki, Grandma, Grandpa, Ashlyn, Mom, Dad, Aunt Kim and Uncle Duane came to support Alley.
Kim & Duane were the only ones we could snatch a picture with :(
Ammon, Ashlyn & mom also got to watch the dress rehearsal and lots of practices.
Other than all the Oompa Loompa dances and songs Alley had a couple special parts where she got to do the "Ball Machine" dance & did a couple cartwheels, and was also a normal kid in the winter scene :)

We are so proud of you Alley for working so hard these last couple months.  You didn't complain much about it even when you were so very tired. You are so talented and did such a great job! We love you!
