*I LOVE the 4th*

The 4th definitely feels like Christmas to me!  It is one of my favorite holidays!  It's all about traditions and family and fun, & celebrating something really important!  I love it! Of course as always we did the fun at Bunkerville.  I'll always be a bunkerville girl u know =). Adlers race was the first race.  I'm glad they put a blanket down...usually all the babies hate to crawl on the grass.  I wasn't sure what Adler would do, he hasn't been crawling that long, but he sure is getting fast.  But, I couldn't get him to come to me...haha.  "You want me to do what?"
Now Ammon's turn.  Ammon won his race!  Good Job Buddy!
Wow!  A silver Dollar Medal.
Ashlyn's Race....Ashlyn did good, she took 2nd.
Alley's turn, Go AlleyQuit looking at the other girls and just Run!  LOL  The girl to the right won and Alley took 2nd.
We had fun getting ready for the 4th painting and making our shirts and festive hair bows for the girls.  The girls did good on their shirts, I taped them and they colored in the red stripes and stars....so fun!  We used the Cricut and fabric on the rest of the shirt stuff, I thought they turned out cute!  We might make that a new tradition and make shirts every year! So Fun!  Rocki gave me the idea to put "Shaner" on the back, I loved it!
I LOVE this picture!Mmmm...you make that look good!
My view of the kids from up here! =)
Reinacting the races
How 'bout a SnoCone?Now that's talent! LOL
The Fam
Then of course the kids stripped down to their swimming suits and got sprayed by the fire truck and played in the Splash Pad for a while.  We then headed home for some rest and later that night went back for fireworks and the video of the morning activities.  It was good, even though Adler had pretty much had it by then and all the Loudness of the fireworks....he cried the whole fireworks show....
That morning in the car on the way back home all of a sudden Alley said, "I miss Grandma Leavitt." Then, Ashlyn & Ammon said, "Me too!"  Here is Grandma and Ammon last year on the 4th.  We miss you so much Grandma!  I still can't believe you are gone!
All the Bunkerville activities were on Saturday, the 3rd. The 4th we went to church and later on walked to the ball fields by our house and hung out with the Andersons (Trav, Nat & family).  We had a fun time and watched the Mesquite fireworks & lit a few of our own.
It was like a fun 4th weekend.  Today we headed to the Rec Center for some swimming!
What a fun weekend!
