Phoenix Trip: Met's Game!

The main purpose for going to Phoenix to stay with Patti is because Artie really wanted to go to a Met's Game.  Neither of us have been to a professional baseball game and Our team is the "NY Mets."  Artie's family have loved the NY Mets since FOREVER! =) So, we had the opportunity and went.  We might make this a family tradition.  Although, with 4 young kids, it's a little crazy!  Alley is old enough to have a little interest and she thought is was cool for maybe the first 3 innings =)...as long as the snacks kept coming the kids were pretty good!  We had a lot of fun even though the Met's got killed that game :( Aunt Patti's team is the Diamond backs of course and she probably didn't like sitting with all these Met's fans...haha.  There was quite a few too.  Thanks for the awesome tickets Patti!  We were right there down by Right Field.

The Line Up
Warming up
Talkin' it out on the Mound
It's so cool they have this area called "The Sandlot" that you can take kids to during the game to play.  Patti and I took the "wild animals" there a little before the 7th inning and they had fun playing for just a bit.Adler was trying to climb up
View of the field from the Sandlot
View of Artie from the Sandlot =)  See him there at the top in his Blue Met's shirt, probably lovin' it there without the kids to distract him from the game =)
Our Fam- all decked out in our Met's get up!
I love this one of the girls...wow- they look more and more a like all the time!
You know how they show people kissing throughout the crowd on the big screen.  Well, they did that and then they showed this couple down over by where we were sitting.  He PROPOSED!  Awww... So cool!

During the day before the game we also went to the movies, we saw "Despicable Me."  It was so cute!  Even Ammon sat there the whole time and watched the whole show.

Anyway, We had such a fun time in AZ.  Thanks again Patti for letting us come and stay.  The kids didn't want to leave.  We can wait to do it again!
