Disneyland...Here we come!!

So, we are so stinkin' excited that we are going to Disneyland tomorrow! We've been counting down the days! We've had it planned for about a year and now finally we are going. The girls are gonna love it! We are heading out tomorrow after Alley gets out of school. We are gonna spend 3 days at Disneyland/California Adventure and 1 day at the beach. We also have tickets for friday night for the Halloween Night at California Adventure. I can't wait for the kids to experience it all. Artie and I both love Disneyland too. It's gonna be a great family vacation. There is one crazy dilemma.... we heard that this week is Gay and Lesbian week....argghhhh, crazy! Why in the heck do they even have that??? So, we are hoping it's not too bad!! Kinda funny though, huh!? I can just see Alley & Ashlyn asking all kinds of questions! We'll see what happens! We'll definitely be sharing all the pics when we get back!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL...& Mini Cheer!

We are having fun going to the Football games this year! The girls love going and running around playing with Brooklin and other little friends. They Love to dance around like little crazy girls. Ammon loves it too...he is just amazed with the band, he'll bounce up and down to the beat and he's starting to clap! I don't know what Alley is doing in this picture =) she looks funny, she wasn't smiling for me, she wanted to look through Nana's Binoculars!Ammon & PapaThis week the girls did Mini Cheerleading! They had practice everyday this week getting ready for their performance for halftime of the game! The girls loved going to practice and Alley was couting down the days until the game. (she counts down the days for Everything!) When we were getting ready to go to the game she was so nervous we were going to be late, she thought she would miss her big performance! They did good....Alley new the dance & cheer pretty good, but Ashlyn pretty much sat there and then was walking around during the cheer.... haha =) oh well!Ashlyn, Brooklin & Alley

The SiMpLE, SWeeT MOMENTS!

I just love on Saturday mornings when all the kids wake up and come in to our room and we all end up piled on our bed! I wish I could actually sleep in for once atleast until 8 or 8:30... but I wouldn't change those fun moments for anything! It's such a simple moment and such great family time! Today was just relaxing... a little boring too, we actually didn't have much of anything we absolutely needed to do for once. I finally finished the 4th book of the Twilight Series-"Breaking Dawn"...yeah! It was sooo good! I'm a little sad it's over, but maybe I can accomplish some things now =) Tonight after the kids baths and all, Alley and Ashlyn were ready to go to bed, but Ashlyn didn't want to go in her bed she was "too scared." So, she said she was going to get in Alley's bed with her. Alley was fine with it, so I said "okay"....of course I didn't think that it would last long. Usually Alley and Ashlyn would start playing or get too squished in Alleys twin bed or something. So, when about 10 minutes had passed, I was a little surprised that Ashlyn hadn't come out of the room yet! I walked back there to see what they were doing and they were both sound asleep, cuddled around each other and snoring away! Awwwwww.... so sweet! I would have taken a picture but didn't want to wake them!

So, today was the day that Ashlyn finally started Preschool. She has been waiting since Alley got to go to Preschool =) Then when Kindergarten started for Alley, Ashlyn could not wait another minute.....So, Finally she got to go today! After dropping Alley off at School by 9:00 we still had to wait until preschool started at 9:30. We had waaaaayyy too much time, she could not stand it! She kept asking, "are you gonna drop me off yet? Are we going to MY School yet?" So, after driving around for a few minutes I finally took her over there. Right when she got out of the car she literally started running! Her classroom was not opened yet, so she played on the play ground for a little bit. When the teacher opened the classroom we hung up her backpack and she started playing..... she didn't care if I was there or not =(

The 1 1/2 hours went way too fast! She loved it and started telling me all about it the moment I picked her up. Usually I have to ask Alley a million questions to get her to tell me what she did at school. But, I didn't even have to ask Ashlyn. She said, "I had fun and stuff." "I played & stuff." "I went potty & stuff." "I played with the toys & stuff." "I went outside & stuff." A few minutes later she said, "so at school I had fun & stuff." ahhahahhaa, she's so funny!

So, I guess she had a good time & stuff =)

(I was a little worried about this preschool, I wanted to talk "Miss Kim" into taking Ashlyn into her little class, but I had already signed Ashlyn up for Sunshine Academy when she decided to teach the little ones again...I hope it goes well.. I'm sure it will, but we'll miss "Miss Kim" as a Preschool teacher)

Happy Birthday Grandma! *92*

Monday, Sept 1st we celebrated my Grandma Leavitt's Birthday at my sister Kim's house. My Grandma turned 92 years young =). I love when we get together with family. It's just a lot of fun to have so much family around and the kids always have a blast! We had a potluck Dinner and yummy cake and rootbeer floats with homemade rootbeer.

My Grandma is the best grandma ever! I hope she had a good day! She is such a great grandma, she has the best sense of humor and cute personality. I loved growing up with her right next door! I'm glad my kids get to know her! I love you Grandma, Happy Birthday!

This last weekend (Labor Day Weekend) we had a little Reunion with my Dad's side of the family. We don't get to see them often. So, it was nice to be able to go. There wasn't too many that were able to come. (My dad has 12 brothers and sisters....a couple are not with us any more). But, it was fun to see those that were able to come because it's been years since I've seen most of them! So, we headed way up on Cedar Mountain Saturday morning. We missed a couple family members that were only able to be there friday and left saturday, but then more family came the next day too! It's always a crack up with my brothers around and Uncle Kenny too of course! We had a good time! Sunday morning it rained on us pretty good, so the girls had fun inside Grandma & Grandpa's trailor playing "go fish." They played it a lot and had so much fun!

100 Facts About Me!

Whew! This was a tough challenge, but a lot of fun too! Once I got going I felt like I was on a roll....a lot of memories kept coming! It will make for some great memories of stuff that isn't usually written down. I challenge everybody else to do it too! 1. My middle name is Dawn 2. Artie is my True Love & Best Friend 3. I was adopted 4. I always use to tell people "I'm a quarter Fillipino, quarter Polynesian & 100% Laub." 5. As a child I always had dark brown hair and naturally very tan skin..... 6. I don't know what happened....I really turned into a Laub, I'm a whitey now! =) 7. I do tan nicely though.... 8. I love the color Yellow 9. I would never dare to wear the color Yellow 10. My favorite color to wear is Red 11. My best friend growing up was Marci Whipple 12. I have video of her at my 3rd birthday party making faces at herself in the T.V. 13. We use to make up plays and have practice everyday and then have people buy tickets to come see our awesome play! =) 14. We also always had lemonade stands and yard sales to sell our old toys & clothes! 15. My other "bestest" friend as a young kid was my cousin Danyel.... we use to have matching shirts and mine said "my bestest friend is sissy," hers said "my bestest friend is LaLa" 16. Some people still call me "LaLa." 17. My Nieces and Nephews use to always call me "LaLa" 18. My uncle Dave (Heavy D) still only calls me "LaLa" 19. I have 23 nieces and nephews... 20. My oldest niece is only 4 years younger than me.... 21. She's more like my little sister 22. I play the piano 23. My very first piano lesson was when I was 3 years old... I learned by colors 24. My teacher moved and I then began lessons again at 8 years old from my best friends mom, Jean 25. My mom never let me quit 26. I am very grateful 27. I also like to sing! 28. I use to play the keyboard synthesizer and Piano for the Show Choir in High School 29. I use to have 25 piano students of my own 30. Since having my 3rd baby....I have taken a little break from teaching piano lessons. 31. I can also play the violin 32. I use to take clogging when I was younger 33. I cried and cried when my teacher moved to St. George and my mom wouldn't drive me there for lessons.... 34. A couple months ago I bought some instructional clogging DVD's and have continued to learn clogging... 35. I was surprised how fast it came back to me..... I LOVE IT! 36. I secretly want to teach clogging some day! =) 37. I love to Dance! 38. I love to do Gymnastics..... 39. I took 1st place in my very first Gymnastics competition 40. My 1st pass was round-off and 4 back handsprings 41. My 2nd pass was Cartwheel, Round-off, Back handspring, Back handspring, Back handspring Step out. 42. I taught Gymnastics for a year... and love to try and teach my girls stuff! 43. The last time I did a back flip or a back handspring (other than on the trampoline) was about 2 years ago. 44. I love to do tricks on the trampoline 45. I LOVE to teach people things or show them how to do something new 46. I think ice skating is sooo much fun... I've been once 47. I am terrified of Mice 48. My major in college was Health Promotion and Nutrition...(when I was going for my bachelors) 49. I love learning all about Health and Nutrition 50. I'm a certified Health and Fitness Trainer 51. I'm also a certified Pre/Post Natal Fitness Specialist 52. I LOVE to Exercise 53. I'm not that great at eating healthy... 54. Working out is my Stress Reliever 55. I recently FINALLY nailed down my Associates Degree 56. I went to SUU, they didn't offer Associates when I was there, they were only a 4 year school....I had to catch up a little bit on things they added to the curriculum so I could at least have my Associates! 57. I was a Cheerleader for 6 years 58. Middle School cheerleader- 7th and 8th grade, JV Cheerleader- Freshmen Year, Varsity Cheerleader- Sophomore through Senior Year 59. I was the co-captain my Senior Year 60. I LOVED cheerleading 61. I wished I would have tried Drill Team at least 1 year 62. I also played Softball my Sophmore and Junior Year 63. I didn't play my most important year (Senior Year) because my mom made me work in the Meat Shop..... =( 64. I use to be a fast runner... 65. I always won my age bracket race on the 4th of July 66. I wish I would have done Track in High School... 67. The Coach asked me to be on the track team my Senior Year.... and I really wanted too, but remember I had to work in the Meat Shop =( 68. My dad was a butcher 69. My first real job was in the Meat Shop....I was a pretty fast wrapper.... =) 70. I love Music... I love Musicals.... my favorite on broadway is Les Miserables.... I've seen it 3 times... 71. My first kiss was with my cousin Ben...(we were like 3 years old)... I have a picture to prove it! 72. My first "Real" kiss was with Cody Hughes when I was 15 73. He was my first "Real" Boyfriend, we dated on and off for a couple years... 74. I was a CRAPPY girlfriend... 75. Funny enough I was roommates in college with his now Wife....I just love her and him too! 76. I was the Junior Prom Queen 77. I was also the V-day Queen... whoo hoo... Artie was the V-day King...hahah, He dissed me in the parade... 78. I had to ride on the convertible with dress, crown and all...ALL BY MYSELF! Argghhh! 79. I think I was way too shy in High School in a lot of ways...except for when I was performing at anything 80. But, I was involved in lots of stuff... I was also always in the Student Council... I was Student Body Secretary my Senior year. 81. I had so much fun in High School.... I miss it sometimes 82. I have never had a sip of Alcohol or tried any drugs or smoked! 83. I love secretarial type things.... I love to type, organize things, I'm obsessed with making lists, & just about everytime I go to the store I feel like I have to buy some type of planner, notebook or folder. 84. I love children's Books 85. I use to want to write a Children's Book 86. I love to write poems 87. I once wanted to be a Make-up Artist 88. I love to learn new things, take a new class or learn a new talent... 89. I LOVE making things.... I'm a little obsessed.... 90. I love doing Sign Language and watching Sign Language videos with my kids 91. I love being a Mommy 92. I secretly want 5 kids instead of 4.... somedays.... it could change back to 4 at any moment 93. I think I'm a pretty good listener, I want to be able to help solve peoples problems... 94. My new love is the Twilight Books... 95. I can't wait for the Movie 11.21.08 (But then I won't be able to wait for the next 3 movies) 96. While at home I can't ever sit for 1 minute.... I have to be doing something....Artie thinks I have the twitchy leg syndrome.... (whatever it's called) 97. Cleaning should be what I'm doing while at home... 98. I HATE to clean....but I cannot STAND a messy house....so, It never works out either way... 99. I Have Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)....I cannot go more than 2 or 3 hours without eating and if I just keep eating sugar or carbs it makes me literally SICK AND SHAKY AND FAINT....and with hot sweats.... 100. I love hanging out with my family! a few bonus ones.... * I do not like soda pop! * I cannot stand the feel of cardboard or popcicle sticks or wooden spoons while cooking..... just thinking about it makes me cringe...or the feel of a popsicle stick in my mouth....blahhhhhhhh! * I love to go four wheeling..... I like to go fast! * When I was younger I had a Cat named Suzy, she had one eye Brown and one eye Blue....
