First Day of School

School has begun for the new school year.  The kids were excited for School to start.

Ashlyn is in 1st Grade now!!

The kids all got a blessing from Dad the night before School started, we picked out the first week of clothes for the girls and they were ready!  We are so proud of the hard work they have already put into their homework each night.  It's been so busy with School and Homework and it's hard because I can't help much until after I'm done teaching piano & music class at 6 pm.  But, we are figuring it out and we are hoping for a really great year! The girls also started dance and are really excited about it.

Little Mermaid at Tuacahn

 The girls and I were able to go to the Little Mermaid at Tuacahn.  It was so good!! We loved it.  It was a little late for the girls, they started getting tired. :) But, they thought it was really cool.  The special effects were great! I thought is was Awesome! We had a fun time!

This was the best shot we got of Ariel :) the line was too long for her and prince Eric.  Sebastian was also really really great in the play. So good! I'm glad we got to have a fun girls night just me and my girls.

Alley's Baptism Day

Alley was Baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 

Saturday, August 6, 2011.  I can't believe she is already 8 years old.  She was so excited to be 8 and so excited to be getting baptized.  Artie did a great job Baptizing her and giving her a wonderful confirmation blessing. We talked a lot about it in the months ahead with Alley so she would fully understand what it meant to be baptized and the convenants she would be making with Heavenly Father.  Also, we talked to her about what it means to receive the Holy Ghost.  She had her interview with the Bishop and she was fully ready. We are so proud of Alley and the decision she has made to be Baptized a member of the church. She seems so much more grown up now. :)

We appreciate the family that were able to come spend this special time with Alley.  We had a few goodies afterwards at our house. I made a little video of Alley's year and what she has accomplished this year that we showed. We had some small root beer floats and rice krispie treat popcicles.

Alley's Photo Shoot

I'm finally getting around to putting all the pics from Alley's 8 year old photo shoot.  We had a lot of fun and got a ton of photos.  Even more than we have here :) These are some of our Favorites.

I wasn't prepared to be photographed...haha, but I like having a picture of us together.

Alley tells me this is "the look" that gets the boys to chase her...haha. Uh Oh!
