Halloween 2011

The girls had a fun Costume Parade at school.  It was madness with all the kids trying to get in the costumes all at the same time. :) But, they had fun.

I helped with Ashlyn's class party.  I tried to come up with some fun and easy things they could do, along with some other mom helpers.

We met up with the Andersons and the guys took the kids Trick or Treating around our neighborhood, 

Nat & I passed out Candy at her house.

The Guys and kids came back and we had good food and good times!

Her costume lights up...I think that was her favorite part.  She loves anything the lights up or has sparkles on it. That's why her nick name is Sparkle or Sparkles :)

Alley got a Pumpkin....yay! She's on a roll with her broken Arm, it's bringing her lots of luck....or just more confidence that she can do anything.

Ashlyn was disappointed she didn't get one :( Last year she did, this year she didn't....oh well! Great Job doing the race anyway.  Just finishing it as strong as you can is GREAT in my book!

Halloween Preschool Party

It was a great time at the Halloween Preschool Party.  They all looked cute in there little costumes.  Adler got to stay since I was helping and he had a great time too.  He can't wait until he gets to go to preschool....um, like in 2 years, he's not going to be happy about that. :)

HaPpY HaLlOwEen!

The Halloween festivities for us started with the annual school Pumpkin Run.  Ashlyn won a pumpkin, she was pretty excited!  Here are the top 20 Kindergarten girls pumpkin winners....Ashlyn is there in the middle of the front row.

 Here are the K girls running their little hearts out....it is soooo far, I didn't think Ashlyn was gonna make it, but she pulled through!

 Here is Alley's race, she was doing so good!  I saw her slow down toward the end....that is a long way, and she ended up being #21 to finish.....Aww, darn it, Just missed it!  Oh well Alley, you did Great!

 I think the girls were happy that Dad was able to take a little bit from work and stop by to see them run!

               Then, we had a little fun with Trick or Treating/Trunk or Treat.

 Pink "Bat Girl" (of course it has to be pink) & "Batman" (Ammon has to be Batman everyday...not sure when that phase will stop...haha, he gets mad when his batman capes are in the washer, his friend Sydnee tells her mom she isn't scared of anything because she knows Batman will save her...Batman Ammon that is! =)

  Artie & I went to a fun Halloween party the night before, so we dressed up 2 nights in a row.....

we had a fun time with it!  We wore the same costumes like 2 years ago, maybe next year we'll figure out some new costumes.
