Ammon at 10 months

Ammon is just the cutest & sweetest boy ever! He is happiest when he is at home. He's my little home boy! If sometimes we are gone for the day or at somebody's house and he's so cranky, when we get home he's as happy as can be!

Here are some things about him at 10 months:

*He now weighs 20 lbs (45%) & is 28 1/4 inches long (55%)

*walks around everything

*can stand on his own

*walks when pushing a toy

*shakes head no

*makes lots of noises like he's trying to talk- "cave man" talk...he says, huh, uh, ah, mama, dadadada....those sorts of things =)

*loves to dance and starts dancing at the slightest sound of music

*prefers "real" food- loves mac n cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, any sort of noodle, bananas, corn on the cob, watermelon, chicken, potatos, pears, peaches, peas, cheerios, fruit loops

*still loves to nurse

*waves bye-bye

*wears size 3 diapers

*wears size 9-12 month clothing

He gets into everything! Maybe it's a boy thing! He loves to play in the bathroom! He also loves to play in the kitchen. He plays with the magnets on the fridge forever & he has his own drawer that I just put tupperware lids and things in. He has a great time in there!

Ammon loves to be with his sisters and they love him too! Ammon, you are such a joy in our home! We love you so much and love to watch you grow! You are the sweetest little boy and are mostly always so happy! We don't know what we would do without you!

The HAPPIEST PLaCe on EaRtH....

We had the best time at Disneyland! The girls had a BLAST! It was soooo much fun! Ammon even had a good time! He just looked in amazement at everything. He liked the characters and he LOVED the Tiki Room! He danced the whole time. Alley was able to go on everything! Artie was so shocked that she loved the roller coaster type rides. Her favorite was SPLASH MOUNTAIN! We took her on that about 4 or 5 times! She got a little scared in Space Mountain because it was dark the whole time and she couldn't see what was going on... but she still liked it. On every fast ride she held her arms up on all the drops =) She was so funny! Ashlyn Loved Peter Pan and Pirates of the Carribean (we went about 5 times) She also was able to go on the Matterhorn and she loved it! She came off of that and said "that was awesome!" She loves those fast rides too! I found this picture of me at Disneyland when I was about 5 or 6. I thought it was cool because it was kinda similar to the picture of Alley. Alley was a pretty good driver on Autopia, she said, "I kept my eyes locked on the road the whole time." =) Artie was with Ashlyn driving and he about got whiplash.... she's a little crazy driver....hahaha

AlleyMe- 1985

Day 1- We went to to Disneyland! The girls went to the town hall in Disneyland and got buttons to wear since it was there first visit. The guy asked them to raise their right hand and promise to smile and have fun all day! It was pretty cute!

Day 2- Disneyland

Day 3- California Adventure and later went back to Disneyland for some more fun- We loved Bug's Land and Talking to Crush was so cool! My sister Marsha was down there the same time we were, so it was fun to meet up with them each day. Her and the girls kept the kids for a while so Artie and I could go on Tower of Terror and so we could go on the bigger rides with Alley and Ashlyn. (Thanks guys, that was sooooo nice of you!)

(in case you are wondering.... in all the day 3 pics Ashlyn has a big knot on her head... she was sitting on the front of the stroller and fell off straight forward and hit a big rock...ouch! When it first happened she had a big 'ol goose egg. It was bad!)

Later that night we did the Trick or Treat Party at California Adventure. The girls dressed in their costumes and the whole park was decorated more scary with scary characters out and different trick or treat stops. It was pretty fun and we got a ton of candy! But, Ashlyn was asleep the whole time! =)

Day 4- Sea World- I love Sea World! We weren't really planning on going, but some Australian lady gave my sister free tickets that she wasn't going to be able to use, and then she gave them to us to use. So, we Scored! They were also doing trick or treating at Sea World. We went to Sea World and drove home that night! It was a lot of fun! The drive home was good because the kids were asleep =), but it was long and tiring!

Anyway, we had a great time and such a great family trip! It was fun to be there at this time because it was all decorated for Halloween! It was fun to see the kids experience all that and have such excitement for everything! We loved it and we can't wait to go back in a few years!!
